Cloud Penetration Testing
The cloud fails differently. We test your Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS for the misconfigurations and identity flaws that actually get exploited.
Overview
What it is
Cloud breaches rarely come from a clever exploit. They come from a misconfigured bucket, an over-privileged account or an identity control left switched off. We test your cloud the way attackers approach it.
We assess Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS against known attack techniques and provider best practice, focusing on identity, access, configuration and data exposure.
Who it is for and what you get
Who it is for
- Organisations running Microsoft 365, Azure or AWS
- Teams that have moved to the cloud quickly and want assurance
- Anyone worried about identity attacks and account takeover
- Businesses that must show customers their cloud is secure
What you get
- A clear report with an executive summary for leadership and technical detail for your team.
- Every finding ranked by real-world risk, with practical, prioritised remediation advice.
- A free retest of the fixes you make, so you can prove the risk is closed.
- A debrief call to walk through the results and answer your questions.
Our process
How the engagement runs
- 01
Scope
We agree which platforms, tenants and accounts are in scope and the level of access we will be given.
- 02
Test
We review configuration and identity, and safely demonstrate the attack paths that misconfigurations open up.
- 03
Report
You get prioritised findings with the exact settings to change, mapped to your platform.
- 04
Retest
We verify the changes have closed the risks.
FAQs
Frequently asked questions
How is cloud testing different from infrastructure testing?
Cloud platforms are driven by identity and configuration rather than patch levels. We focus on how accounts, roles, policies and services are set up, which is where cloud attacks succeed.
Do you need admin access to our cloud?
We usually work with a read-only or scoped role we agree with you. This lets us assess configuration thoroughly without holding excessive privilege.
Do you test Microsoft 365 as well as Azure?
Yes. Microsoft 365 identity attacks, such as phishing-driven account takeover and consent abuse, are a major risk and a core part of our cloud testing.
Should I also harden my cloud?
Testing finds the gaps. Our cloud security hardening service then helps you close them and raise your baseline across the tenant.
